Description

The double degree in Agricultural Engineering and Food Science and Technology trains highly qualified professionals to face the new challenges in the agricultural and food sectors by combining two strategic and complementary degrees. The Agricultural Engineering branch will give students a solid scientific and technological grounding aimed at the design, management and direction of agricultural, livestock and agro-industrial operations. It will also provide broad training in the infrastructure and processes associated with primary production and the processing of raw materials. The Food Science and Technology branch will give students the knowledge needed to understand, manage and optimise the food production chain, from the sourcing of raw materials to the marketing of food products, including the different stages of processing, quality control and preservation. This double degree will provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary training with strong career prospects in a sector that is expected to be key in the future in terms of innovation, sustainability and safety.
