Description

The aim of the joint degree is to provide comprehensive training that brings together skills and competences for analysing and interpreting social realities with a command of the specific tools and techniques for managing tourism companies, an in-depth knowledge of the existing historical and cultural heritage and practical language skills in English, qualifying graduates to work as tourist guides. This training will enable graduates to join companies or organisations in the tourism sector and carry out the functions of corporate and institutional management, tourist destination management, and sales management of tourism intermediaries, hotels, travel agencies or any other public or private, national or international body related to tourism.

Applicant profile

The joint degree in Tourism and Geography and History is aimed at people who are interested in learning about and appreciating different cultures, civilisations and social realities; who have a special sensitivity to art and to historical and cultural heritage; who have communication skills and a facility for learning new languages; who are able to work in teams and in multicultural settings; and who show initiative, are creative and are willing to serve others.
