Description

The Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering trains future aeronautical technical engineers (a regulated profession), who deal with the design, construction, maintenance and improvement of aircraft and spacecraft, as well as all the equipment, subsystems and infrastructure they require.

Applicant profile

Students interested in taking this degree should have an interest in air transport systems, air navigation and airport infrastructure, as well as in materials for building aircraft and spacecraft and in aerospace propulsion systems.

Access and admission

  • Baccalaureate with the university entrance exam (PAU) passed
  • Higher vocational training qualifications
  • Entrance exam for people over 25 or over 45
  • Previous university degree

Career opportunities

  • Design, manufacture, development, maintenance and improvement of aircraft or spacecraft, aerospace propulsion systems, airport infrastructure, air navigation and any air transport or air traffic management system
  • Aeronautical verification and certification: drafting and managing expert appraisal projects, airworthiness certificates, inspections of aerospace equipment, opinions and technical advice in areas related to their speciality, quality control, technical and experimental testing
