Description

The Bachelor's Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences responds to the transformation of the sports system into a significant market product in contemporary societies, as well as to the current promotion of active, healthy lifestyles. It provides in-depth training in fields such as, among others, the knowledge and understanding of the physiological and biomechanical factors that condition the practice of physical activity and sport, the social and behavioural factors that condition that practice, and its effects on the structure and function of the human body.

Applicant profile

  • Basic knowledge of biology, human anatomy, physics, philosophy and history
  • Interest in practising physical activity and sport
  • Interest in and curiosity about the expressions of human movement and sport
  • Basic sports skills and control of one's own body
  • Sensitivity to recognise the limitations of others and to facilitate their learning
  • Basic oral and written expression and reading comprehension skills
  • Basic social skills for teamwork

Access and admission

  • Baccalaureate with the university entrance exam (PAU) passed
  • Higher vocational training qualifications
  • Entrance exam for people over 25 or over 45
  • Previous university degree
