This degree is designed to ensure the pedagogical, psychological, linguistic, sociological, scientific, technological and artistic training of future Primary Education teachers, a qualification with a long tradition and appeal both locally and in Spain as a whole.

Applicant profile

The degree is recommended for students who are interested in matters related to teaching, especially at its basic levels. They should be interested in humanitarian and solidarity activities, be responsible, and take on ethical, critical and self-critical commitments. They should be able to work in a group, be persuasive and entrepreneurial, and find interpersonal relationships easy. They should be sensitive to the new demands of a reality that calls at once for equality, the compensation of inequalities and the right to be different, and show sensitivity to environmental problems. They should be creative and flexible and able to adapt to complex, changing and unforeseen situations.
