Description
The Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Chemical Engineering provides training grounded in the theoretical foundations and technologies of this field.
Every graduate in Industrial Chemical Engineering is able to work on the design, maintenance and operation of chemical process equipment, and to experiment with organic and inorganic substances, heat transfer or mass transfer, fluid flow and chemical reaction engineering. This degree also studies the use of raw materials and the chemistry of natural products, and analyses manufacturing processes, environmental pollution and industrial health and safety.
Graduates therefore work especially in industries in which chemical processes take place, such as the oil, paper, electricity, electronics and gas industries, as well as in the environmental sector and public administrations. They can also go into teaching and research.
