Description

The main strength of this degree is its multidisciplinary nature, combining the following areas of knowledge: political and administrative science, accounting, law, economics, business, statistics, computing, marketing and sociology. Thanks to this diversity of knowledge, the degree gives students comprehensive preparation for the direction and management of public organisations and of private organisations closely linked to the Administration (administrative agencies, consultancies, etc.).

Applicant profile

People who work in the different public administrations, as well as in private and social organisations that carry out public projects and services. People who wish to prepare to work in public institutions or who want to improve their skills in order to gain promotion in their own public institutions.

Career opportunities

  • Officer in national, regional, local and EU public organisations, covering two profiles: public administration manager (e.g. in education or health); and manager of public policy and public service projects (any level of government).
  • Officer in private and social organisations that work for public administrations, with three profiles: a) officer in administrative agencies and consultancy organisations (grants, income tax, online procedures); b) officer in non-governmental organisations and the non-profit sector (procurement, projects, partnerships); and c) administrative manager in social and political institutions
