Description

It aims to train professionals for the chemical industry. In this sector, which is the fourth largest industrial sector in Spain (approx. 10%), professionals carry out research, development, design, engineering and process control tasks in various fields (timber, petrochemical, steel, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries, etc.).

Applicant profile

Although the Faculty of Chemistry has not defined an ideal entry profile for the degree, it is highly recommended to have taken Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics in the second year of the Baccalaureate (this is not always possible, as they are not compatible in all secondary schools).

It is also advisable to enter the degree with a capacity for abstraction and scientific reasoning, together with the ability to work steadily in order to progress properly in acquiring knowledge and skills.
